Buzz-o-sonic: Requirements

Windows

  1. 2000, XP, or Vista
  2. At least a 800 x 600 pixels screen resolution
  3. At least one free USB port (firewire port also required if using 192 kHz sound card)
  4. ~100 MB disk space (650 MB if installing High Temperature module and/or Auto-Impulse tool)
  5. Pentium 4 with 2.4 GHz CPU or better and 200 MB of free RAM recommended for high frequency systems

Microphones

We provide the appropriate hardware, including microphones, with Buzz-o-sonic. However, in order to use the demo version you will need to provide your own microphone. For the standard version of Buzz-o-sonic (limited to 22 kHz), we recommend the following microphones:

  1. Logitech A714A (USB microphone, 0.10-16 kHz bandwidth) - part number 980186
  2. Finale Instrumental Microphone (requires a sound card)

Note: we supply the special ICP microphone required for the high frequency version of Buzz-o-sonic (limited to 48 or 96 kHz).
