Buzz-o-sonic: New Products
New versions of Buzz-o-sonic are now available and include:
- High frequency version capable of measuring up to 96 kHz
- Lab Kit for universities - 10 assorted ceramics, 6 metals, and 6 polymers. Pre-tested and incorporated in the Quality Control module for undergraduate laboratories in mechanical testing
- QuasiModo - PocketPC version for registered users of Buzz-o-sonic
- High Temperature systems now available (see screen shots). Custom designed around customer requirements
We can also provide automatic impulse tools for special applications.
Of course, updates and upgrades1 to the current version are produced frequently. Registered users will be offered discounts on the new versions mentioned above, some of which will be produced as add-ons. The Buzz-o-sonic family will be as modular as possible.

Updates are free and upgrades are offered at significant discounts to registered users. An update is classed as a maintenance release where minor bugs are fixed and minor changes to the interface are made. This is reflected in a change to the version number after the second decimal point (e.g. 5.0.1 to 5.0.2). An upgrade is classed as a major release in which significant changes to the interface are made and/or new features are added. This is reflected in a change to the version number before or after the first decimal point (e.g. 5.0.1 to 5.1 or 5.0 to 6.0).
